I have done a massive update for the Multi-Fandom Post-Apocalypse Survival Slash Fiction Thematic List. New stories have been listed and the whole thing has been moved!

It was getting so unwieldy and difficult to update quickly that I relocated it here, to a public Google Notebook.

This move has benefits for both you, the user, and me, the maintainer. Thanks to the Notebook system, you will now be able to navigate directly to a specific fandom on the list, and you will also be able to subscribe to the list using a RSS Reader. The simple, clear formatting of Notebook should make the list easier for you to read, as well. And because it is also much easier for me to update quickly and neatly, updates will be more frequent.

Please let me know if you have trouble accessing the new list for any reason. This list gets a reasonable amount of traffic, and if Notebook can't support that, I will need to make a backup or find another solution. If this works well, I may decide to move all of my Thematic Lists to Google Notebook, so let me know what you think. There are links for commenting and email posted at the top of the list.

Yes... I'm back! What a nice holiday indeed. But... am I weak or juts fragile-constitution? Caught a flu. All because the Balinese plus the tourists love to smoke. *sniffs* Sensitive nose or weak lungs? *sigh* now to recuperate from this cough/sneezing bout of holiday sickness. When I'm better I will definitely be going over f-lists for updates... on rl and on fanfics. Yeah! Till then, here's to a speedy recovery for me.

It's like a booty call, but better!

I'm looking for a quick beta to look over a 3.5k Teddy/James fic.

So as I said yesterday, I'm back home now. I've had to take the last twenty-four to recover. It's amazing how a trip-- VACATION-- can take so much out of me. Well, I suppose that's what conventions and family can do to you.

Was really great to see my family, if exhausting. I adore my family. We are great in number... I think the immediate family is nearing 35. My grandparents, my mum and her five siblings, five significant others between them (one of my aunts is a widow), sixteen children between them and the husband and two (soon to be three) children of one of my cousins. So... Yeah. Massive numbers of people. Even when not everyone is around, it's still a big gathering. And people like to come over lots when us Canadians make it down.

I could go through all of the details of the trip, but really, it's all family stuff. But there is one thing that I think my flist will find amusing:

I was making myself something to eat and had my computer open and playing my iTunes playlist, since I was the only one in the kitchen. "Vanilla" by Gackt was playing. My cousin (who is four, I believe) came in. She started dancing around crazily and saying how much she loved the song. Now, knowing the translation of Vanilla, I was DYING of held in laughter. It was both kind of awesome and yet so very wrong she liked the song so much. But you know, it's got a good rhythm and she doesn't understand Japanese. So no harm, no foul.

Made plans today for some excursions to Toronto. Avenue Q is playing downtown, but only till the end of August. I REALLY want to go and my dad and brother thought it sounded pretty cool. We managed to make arrangements and we're going on Thursday (Yeah.... This Thursday). Short notice, but it's not playing for much longer and I really want to see.

Also got a notice from one of my friends that Dir En Grey is playing at Kool Haus in November. Now, Dir En Grey is not my favourite Japanese band, but I think they're all right. All right enough that I wouldn't mind going to Kool Haus with some friends to go see 'em (especially since Kool Haus isn't a terribly expensive venue). So Rob and I are going. Hurray for getting out of my house!

Been knitting lately. While I was at my grandparents' house, I needed things to occupy my time during the evenings that didn't involve me locking myself away in my room (as internet use, writing or drawing would have) and I had a bunch of knitting supplies from my workshops. I've managed to teach myself ribbing (hurray! New techniques!). Now that I'm back home, I'm working on the Doctor scarf again. It's been cool today and it's nice and brainless, so it's a good way to recover from traveling while still doing something. But now that I'm back and I CAN lock myself away to work, I'm going to start on that big long list of to-do Writing/Art projects I came up with at Terminus. And the next ep of The Nyazian Prophecies. And, of course, my RL work.
